Firstly, I am an adult and I purchased this product for myself, not a child. I am working on a project and needed to use six foot long banner paper. Realizing I needed a stabilizer for the paper I began looking for banner paper holders. This one was the cheapest.

The primary colors were a turn off but this product may be easily painted or stained to give you that "adult look".

It functions as stated. However, I am unable to get a clean tear of the banner paper but for the price it isn't worth a quibble. The easy fix is to just pull the banner paper out a bit further than where you need the clean rip. After that initial tear, polish the rip off with a pair of scissors. Again, for the price is really is no big deal.

for the kids to operate, when the paper "escapes" from under the red "cut" strip it is hard to get the paper back under it. Kids love to pull out a long strip and it is heavy duty paper
